The Senate finally got around to joining the House in repealing the disastrous Obamacare, which means repeal could finally land on the President’s desk.
Among repeal’s many benefits is tax relief for Americans and businesses. This includes undoing the Medicare payroll and capital gains hikes, as well as the weirdly specific tanning tax, which devastated the industry and helped shutter thousands of businesses.
If Obama vetoes the bill as is almost certain, Congress can – now that the Senate is back to being a productive legislative body – send the provisions piecemeal, and see if the President would be as brave vetoing small business relief that the tanning tax repeal provides.
